Residents in India’s northern Agra are living in fear of marauding monkeys who have laid siege to the city.
Perched atop buildings, gates, carts and telephone wires, these monkeys are constantly on the lookout for food and will attack anybody carrying some.
Though the administration is taking steps to eradicate the menace, a permanent solution still eludes the government.Killing the animals is not an option because monkeys have a sacred status among Hindus. — Reuters
