When I was young I ripped tubes and listened to the Floyd.
I was 13-14 and Atom Heart Mother was a recent album I had.
I’d biff my own kid If I found him/her ripping tubes at that age. But I’d raise cheers should he or she listen to such tunes.
I’ve no idea how I listened to this rather than whatever was topping the charts.
Luck, I guess.
And possibly the smarts not to know any better.
